New figures from Navigant Research have confirmed Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas as the world’s leading supplier of wind turbines, with more than 6,445 megawatts of capacity reported in the second half of 2016 — almost 3,000 megawatts more than in the first half of 2016.
